Malachite Baton & 18K Gold Crownwork® Bead Necklace
This beaded necklace breaks from the expected round strand: elongated rectangular malachite batons, squared, columnar, and quietly architectural alternate with smooth round malachite, the two shapes trading off down the length. Thirteen 18K yellow gold Crownwork® rondel barrel beads are spaced along the strand, their grid pattern catching light against the deep green, and our signature small lilypad clasp secures it. The play of geometric against round gives the piece an unexpected rhythm.
Malachite is treasured for its vivid banded greens, swirling patterns that form naturally over millions of years and never repeat so no two beads, and no two necklaces, are ever quite alike. Long associated with protection and transformation, this longer length layers easily or makes a bold statement worn alone.
