Renowned for his meticulous metal work, profound technical skills, and use of exquisite gemstones, Ray Griffiths is a life long jewelry designer and true lover of all things that sparkle
"There was no question about it, I was going to be a jeweler. That was the road I was going down, and that was all there was to it."
New York City based designer and goldsmith Ray Griffiths is renowned for visionary design, master artisanship, and his signature Crownwork® technique. This distinctive grid like pattern is a signature element of his bold and airy designs.
Ray's foundation was built during his apprenticeship at a high end jewelry restoration house in Australia, where he mastered the language of gold and precious metals.
From his sunlit Fifth Avenue studio, Ray creates custom engagement rings, wedding jewelry, and his signature collection of cocktail rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets, necklaces and charms, working with his beloved 18 karat gold and colored gemstones. His collections draw inspiration from Regency and Edwardian eras, Moorish aesthetics, and Greek and Roman antiquity.
Ray is also celebrated as a "jewelry whisperer," renowned for his unparalleled restoration skills that breathe new life into treasured heirlooms.

It’s a privilege to be able to work with gemstones and make gold jewelry for people who appreciate the beauty of what I produce,” Griffiths says. “Gold came to our planet from meteorites that crash landed here one hundred million years ago, and gemstones are also precious pieces of eternity. Creating Jewelry is more than a career, it’s also an emotional process. I love seeing my clients light up when they wear my designs.”
