These stunning one-of-a-kind butterfly earrings showcase our signature 18k yellow gold Crownwork® technique enhanced with hand painted plique-à-jour enamel wings. Inspired by the mighty Monarch butterfly in flight, these earrings feature fluted sides that simulate beautiful wing movement while focusing entirely on the wings through the elimination of a traditional body design.
The center of each butterfly features diamonds pavé set in platinum, creating wonderful contrast against the gold and adding exceptional sparkle. The wings are adorned with plique-à-jour enamel - a specialized technique where translucent enamel is hand painted in multiple layers within our crownwork®. This creates luminous stained glass effects that allow light to pass through the enamel, building rich color depth and realistic wing texture that captures the ethereal beauty of Monarch butterflies
