Baltic amber is fossilized tree resin formed over 44 million years ago along the shores of the Baltic Sea. While most amber displays golden honey tones, green amber is exceptionally rare, getting its unique color from organic plant material trapped within the resin during formation. Lithuania has been a center of amber craftsmanship for centuries, and green amber remains one of the most sought after varieties among collectors.
