“Having discovered Ray’s designs a number of years ago through the purchase of jewelry for my wife, we have become somewhat of a “Griffiths family” jewelry wise. We both love the elegance of his hallmark Crownwork® and the overall designs of all the pieces we’ve purchased throughout the years. I had subsequently obtained several fine gems at auction and we approached Ray to do a custom design for a ring to complement the beautiful green tourmaline that we successfully acquired. The process of working with Ray on this project was both straight forward and most successful. We provided only very general ideas about what we wanted and those became rendered quickly into a perfectly designed and balanced piece of jewelry.
When subsequently considering a gift for our older daughter, who had completed a long and arduous program to become a graphic designer and a very successful first year working as a professional designer, we again wanted something very special that she would think of and remember as a special recognition of her achievements. Another custom ring from Ray seemed the perfect answer. The resulting ring again exceeded our hopes and seemed the perfect way to celebrate our daughter’s many accomplishments. More importantly perhaps, she loves and proudly wears it often.”
