Ray's design notes
This is our 18k yellow gold Crownwork® clover leaf and labradorite triple wrap necklace with small lilypad clasp. These necklaces are an exercise in symmetry, double wrapped or triple wrapped the gold and stone sections line up exactly. The Crownwork® clovers takes the weight out but gives them a visual heft so they are lightweight and fabulous to the eye. I love to work with symmetry and the flat design allows for comfortability whilst looking delicate and sophisticated. The clover is often associated with good luck and positive reinforcement. The lilypad clasp is a way for me to finish a piece of jewelry with a personal design touch. The clasp is very safe and easy to open and close. It’s something that shows the true nature of the piece being made by hand rather than a manufactured clasp.
Labradorite is a mysterious stone, born from the storms of the Northern Lights and found in Canada’s Labrador region it is linked to the glimmering gold and green lights of the Aurora Borealis, the stone is as mystical as its iridescent changing colors suggest. True to it’s original nature the beads shine a blue-grey iridescence that bring an alluring touch.
