This is a beautiful pair of 18k yellow gold Crownwork® amphora earrings on hooks with pave set diamond center and long white onyx drops. Made of 18k spring gold so its high tensile, easy to get on and off and helps the earring hang directly underneath the earlobe. All of the gold we use is certified eco-responsible, recycled metal. Unlike mining, where approximately 20 tons of waste is generated to produce just one ounce of gold, refining precious metals has virtually no waste and is much better for the earth. Onyx is a Chalcedony stone that occurs in fibrous aggregates. It doesn’t crystallize like other popular minerals. As a result, it forms nearly parallel banding with a glossy finish.
