These bands are Ray’s take on a 1920s classic eternity band, we make them in a lot of different stones and colors and they look beautiful stacked up together.
The stones are set in oxidized silver and the other half is 18k Yellow Gold crownwork®. Oxidized silver has a beautiful historic feel for jewelry ( think Austro-Hungarian empire ) and is a wonderful contrast to the gold. It looks rich and strong and as a setting material it’s soft and easy to bezel stones in deep. When it’s oxidized it is really polished black so the stones pop with rich saturated color and look luxurious.
This ring is set with 1.5cts of Ceylon Sapphires. Historically, the most famous sources for blue sapphires (ceylon sapphires) are Burma, Kashmir and Sri Lanka, formally known as Ceylon. Sapphires are the next hardest minerals to diamonds so they are great to set in rings, they are birthstone for September and their properties include purity love and strength
