This is a gorgeous pair of 18k yellow gold large Crownwork® finial earrings on teardrop top posts with faceted black onyx drops. The design inspiration for the finials are the Moores in Spain. It’s my translation of the columns in the Alluhumbra Palace. The design is a very old world form that fits jewelry perfectly and I use it in many configurations throughout the collection. All of the gold we use is certified eco-responsible, recycled metal. Unlike mining, where approximately 20 tons of waste is generated to produce just one ounce of gold, refining precious metals has virtually no waste and is much better for the earth.
